I ordered a 64 GB Gold iPhone 6 Now on September 30, 2014 and I received it the October 2, 2014.
However, what a surprise I got when opening the box and starting the phone: this one was set up in factory test mode. "This is amazing ..."
The iPhone is unusable, iOS 8 is not even installed. This iPhone in factory test mode is not supposed to be on the market. The system installed can test the features and the hardware of the device.
After some researches it seems that this problem is already known with other iPhone/iPod versions. See there and there.
